MIDA social teaching holds that humans have a right to move to protect their lives and families. MIDA Ministry immigration services support the federal government’s right and duty to regulate our borders while also calling for bipartisan, effective, humane reforms to our country’s broken immigration system.

More than 100 million people around the world have been forced from their homes. Resettlement, asylum, and temporary statuses can offer displaced people options for refuge and safety—but many of those pathways are threatened.
